SHAUN RYAN BURLINGAME

     Shaun Ryan Burlingame, 36, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home in Black River Falls, WI. 

     Shaun was born Oct. 23, 1988, to Jill Burlingame in Black River Falls, where he lived most of his life. He graduated in 2007 and worked as a custodian in the area. Shaun married Ashley Schmitt Sept. 15, 2018, with whom he raised four children.

     Shaun’s hobbies included working on electronics, fixing things and tinkering with his tools. He loved to build his own toys, such as go-karts and minibikes. He was a kind and loving person who always thought of everyone else. Shaun had a smile that lit up a room and a sense of humor that made everyone laugh. Shaun’s life was a blessing, a memory to treasure, and he was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

     Shaun is survived by his wife, Ashley Burlingame; mother Jill Burlingame of Merrillan; children Avley, Aleah, Caden and Desarae; siblings Kelly Kohl and Jamie Burlingame; in-laws Bonnie and Ronald Schmitt; sisters-in-law Shelly (Don) Demers, Kristi (Luke) Zarins, Katie (Travis) Severson and Marissa Schmitt; many nieces and nephews, and one great-niece.

     He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Eileen Burlingame; aunt Jessie Annis; and cousin Ray Gohde, along with Lavilla and Clarence Schilling.

     An open-house celebration of life for Shaun Burlingame will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, from noon until 4 p.m. at Torgerson Funeral Home, 408 N Water St, Black River Falls, WI.
