Shiriline Turville

In profound sadness, we announce the passing of Shiriline “Shirley” Turville, of Edgar, devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend of all whose lives she touched. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her winter residence in Jacksonville, FL, May 4, 2022. She was in her 73rd year.
Born in Milan, IN, to Charles and Carrie (Lozier) Frazier, Shirley was employed by Hillenbrand Casket Company in Batesville, IN, for many years before relocating to Temple, TX, where she was employed by the Bell County Courthouse until her well-deserved retirement. Additionally, she brought smiles and laughter to many of the patrons she served while working as a bartender in Temple, TX. She loved being outdoors, going to the beach, going on fun shopping trips and going out with the girls, watching sunsets and spending time with family and friends. She loved life and inspired everyone around her with her energy and joyful personality.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wayne Turville; daughter Peggy (Jeff) Garwood; son Darrell (Laura) Powers; stepson Keith (Alex) Turville; stepdaughter Gail Landwehr and stepdaughter Karen (Mike) Agee. Shirley also had many special friends including, sister-in-law Ann Thompson, Doina, Jon and Amy Dvorak, Kim and Lorenzo Armanno, Ann Smith, Jim and Sallye Thomas and lifelong friend, Verna.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carrie Frazier; brothers Mearil and Melvin Frazier; and daughter Kimberly Lynn Powers.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
