TARI LYNN “BABE” PETTIBONE

     Tari Lynn “Babe” Pettibone, 55, passed away on Dec. 31, 2022, at the Black River Memorial Hospital. She was born May 30, 1967, to Gavin and Vaughn (Miner) Pettibone in Black River Falls, WI. 

     Tari enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts and watching the Chicago Bears, the Bulls and the Cubs. She loved to watch fancy dancing, cooking and teasing just about anyone. More than anything, Tari loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

     She is survived by her sons, Rylan Greendeer and Leland Bird; daughter Cheyenne Bird; brothers Reginald (Marca) Pettibone and Clarence Pettibone; sisters Crystal Pettibone, Melissa (Luis) Olvera and Gina (Vilas) White Eagle; grandchildren Aiden Funmaker, Gavin Funmaker, Braylon Funmaker, Layla Funmaker, Quentin Funmaker and Hudson Bird.

     Tari is preceded in death by her parents; brother Lionel Pettibone; sister Shari Jo Pettibone; and niece Kathleen Funmaker. 

     Funeral services for Tari took place Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at the Torgerson’s Funeral Home at 12 p.m. Richard Mann officiated. Friends and family were invited to visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. There was also a visitation from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at the Torgerson’s Funeral Home.
