WESLEY STODDARD JR.

     Wesley Stoddard Jr., 78, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, in Black River Falls.

     “Peanut, Pinnie, Pinnacle” 

Wes was born Jan. 15, 1946, to Wesley Stoddard Sr. and Bernice Stoddard in Neillsville. He worked numerous jobs over the years, working for Nelson and the airline companies down in Las Vegas. He enjoyed flying, taking care of the planes and taxing the planes back. He worked out in Las Vegas at Circus Circus and Continental.

     He was married to Bernice in 1964, and five children came from this union. They later divorced.

     Wes loved to hunt and fish. He always had his trusty metal detector by his side to find hidden treasures. He loved record collecting and listening to Elvis Presley.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Sr. and Bernice; son James and daughter Lori; grandson Ryan; great-grandson Porter; uncles Charles, Kenneth and James; sister Linda; nephew Charles; niece Amy; and aunt Martha.

     Wes is survived by his children, Lani Wetzel, Ken Stoddard and Randy Stoddard (Roselyn Sebastian); adopted daughter Samantha Henning; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Larry and Robert Stoddard; along with many nieces and nephews.

     The funeral service for Wesley will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at Assembly of God in Alma Center with Pastor Terry Marg officiating. A visitation will be held at church Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Fairchild Cemetery.
